it's fast enough to either chase or exit a fight if that's what is called for (valor and ego are two different things. That's why I like to open sea hunt with my War Galleon. I go out in the open sea loaded for bear and I want to be ready for a 2-4 ship fight if needed. Never show up to a gun fight with a knife.
Well that's why I carry 2000+ cannon balls and a ♥♥♥♥ load of Planks, Sail cloth and lots of gun powder. If I have seen plenty of the same countries ships then I lead them on and move out of the same area and fight them in a different spot.Īs for add ins on a fight. how I handle the fight depends on what I have been seeing lately as far as ships and what countries I remember them being from. Then the final one is they get within cannon range and then unload on me, I always have the cannons at the ready and then the fight is on. again They are not really worth my time so I let them run. I have had some small ships come up and at the last minute they turn fire the 3 cannons they have and run like mad away from me. Most times a smaller ship will get right up to almost in gun range and then they turn away and run. If a ship turns towards me I have the crew to alert and open to cannon doors and switch to what ever side it looks like they are going to approach from.
I don't know how long you fight with one ship, but i think you fight long enough to give enought time to the enemy to catch you and attack you. There is always more.Īs for the open world part you attack a ship so that faction you attacked attract the other ships of that faction. If you accept a mission to attack an escort or pirates then it doesn't show all the ships which will attack you. I never even see the other ships when the first battle starts. Sometimes it's three ships that end up attacking me. I mean, if I accept a mission to intercept another ship and attack it, another military ship always arrives towards the end of the battle and attacks me.Īlso, If I'm in Open World mode and a ship attacks me, the battle attracts ships from all over and they all rush into the battle. :D You mean despite that another ship come?
