Star Coin 1 – At one point you will see a line of Goombas moving up a series of crystals. Enter the pipe and slide down the Coin Heaven until you see the third Star Coin at the end. Hop on top and use the Flying Squirrel Suit to get onto the platform on the right. Star Coin 3 – Super Acorn required! Between the Checkpoint Flag and the end of the level is a tall a narrow platform. Inside you will find the second Star Coin on top of a set of bricks. Star Coin 2 – As soon as you land from the first Star Coin, enter the first Warp Pipe you see.
Alternatively, jump from the same location. With the Flying Squirrel Suit, glide over to the Star Coin on your right. Star Coin 1 – Hop onto the area where the second Flying Squirrel flies from. Use the links below to jump to specific level: Continue jumping from geyser to geyser, making the jump off of the final geyser big enough to reach the Flagpole.Acorn Plains is the first world in the game so it’s unlocked right from the start. Pick up the shell and throw it to the right to collect the third Star Coin. When the Paratroopa is hovering over a geyser, jump on him until he turns into a shell. Hit the first ? Block for a Super Mushroom or Fire Flower and jump onto the first geyser. Navigate over a Piranha Plant, and use careful timing to dodge the three Piranha Plants in the next section. Jump back onto the geyser and continue on. Dodge the Piranha Plant, then walk off of the sand geyser into the second Star Coin. Use the next set of geysers to jump on or over the Paratroopa. Jump high to dodge the Boomerang Bro and activate the midway flag. They will be especially difficult to dodge in the next section of geysers because they are being spawned out of a Warp Pipe. Continue, dodging the Goombas as they come at you. Ride up the next geyser to the first Star Coin. Move onto the platform, then jump to the next platform when the geyser has disappeared. Hit for a Super Mushroom or a Fire Flower. Jump on the geyser, then continue on to the next set. The sand geysers will appear and disappear on a set cycle, and you know that on is about to appear if a puff of sand appears at the bottom of the screen.
Watch out for the Koopa Troopa on the first sand geyser.
